2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (NIV)
7To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

God has a sense of humor. I chose this scripture, and before I could put it up, I fell asleep. Now, you could say that such was not a sin. I will not even judge myself here, but it definitely was a weakness. My intention was to post this last night. The date shown on when the original post was made is when I had planned on putting it up. However, as some people who know me can attest to, I have very little trouble going to sleep, and can amaze you in the various seemingly uncomfortable positions I can go to sleep in. There is a note with this passage in the copy of the bible that I use that says that Paul's "thorn in my flesh" was some kind of bodily weakness or disease. I have also heard it discussed that it might be an actual sin he could not overcome, although that is speculation either way. What I can say is about me: The weaknesses that I pray about are sins more often than not. This small failing of mine could be seen as either. That being said, I will also say that I cannot conceive of the day in this world we live in that I will not have anything (be it sin or infirmity) that I will not have to struggle with. Hopefully, I will always be able to come back to this truth: "God's grace is sufficient."
